Genesis Global Casino Operator Wins EGR Nordic Awards 2020
Genesis Global took home the EGR Nordic Pay N Play Operator of the Year award. Five of its casinos were also shortlisted in other categories, reflecting the operator’s efforts across the online casino sector.
The EGR Nordic Awards ceremony was held on the 28 January 2020 at the Hilton Hotel in Malta. The event recognises companies for success and innovation in online gambling across the Nordic region. Its award categories cover areas including Casino Content Supplier, Customer Services Operator, Mobile Operator, Casino Platform Supplier, Casino Operator, Sports Betting Operator and Pay N Play Operator of the year.
Other award entrants included Evolution Gaming, Playtech, Scientific Games, Leo Vegas and Mr Green, each of which received an award in Malta. Genesis Global’s Pay N Play Operator of the year win came shortly before the company launched its eleventh Pay N Play casino, Casoola.
Three of the operator’s eleven casinos drew particular attention at the NGR Nordic Awards 2020: Spela Casino, Pelaa Casino and Kassu Casino. Each launched between 2018 and 2019. Their straightforward interfaces and instant-play features for mobile and desktop helped them gain notice in the Play N Play market.
Genesis Global’s casinos were also in contention across five other NGR Nordic 2020 categories, giving the company further chances to add to its award tally.
Genesis Global CEO Ariel Reem accepted the award for the operator. He said he was proud of the win and described receiving the Pay N Play Operator of the year honour as an incredible feeling. Reem called it an ideal beginning to the new decade and credited his team’s passion for the company’s success in the category.
The win marked a notable achievement for Genesis Global and its casino brands. The company entered the online casino business in 2014 and, over six years, established a presence at the EGR Awards. The ceremony brings together companies competing across the online casino industry.
In the original review, our news team singled out Genesis Global from the launch of its first online casino, Genesis Casino. The operator’s portfolio had grown to eleven casinos at the time, with further launches anticipated over the following decade, each with its own theme.
The casinos offered more than 1,300 casino games, spanning video slots, virtual table games and a broad live dealer selection. Live dealer tables came from NetEnt and Evolution Gaming. It also reported that each Genesis casino had a distinct theme and that the casinos held licences from the UKGC and MGA.
