Luna Casino review
Luna Casino is a UK online gambling site reported to have operated within the UK Gambling Commission framework since 2016. Skill on Net Ltd, its operator, also holds an MGA licensing certificate. The source review describes access through iOS and Android apps or a web browser, and points to British game studios including Reflex, Inspired, Push Gaming, Blueprint, and Playtech. The original UK review recounts its author’s reported play, bonus claims, deposits, slot and live dealer sessions, and a withdrawal test; those experiences are attributed to that review, not presented as new verification.
Luna Casino’s History
Luna Casino launched online in 2016 and has built a presence in the UK and MGA online casino markets. Malta registration records for operator Skill on Net Ltd date to 2010, placing the company’s iGaming activity within a longer operating history.

Licensing and Player Security
According to the review, Skill on Net Ltd operates the site and holds its casino licence certificate. The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) issued it under account number 39326. The operator’s active remote licences cover Bingo, Casino, and Gambling Software. Luna Casino’s URL is also shown as ‘Active’ in the ‘Domain names’ area of Skill on Net’s UKGC account.
The site is described as using HTTPS for TLS encryption and following the British government’s 10-step cybersecurity framework. Its footer displays an iTech Labs RNG certificate; iTech Labs is identified as an algorithm-testing company approved by the UKGC. The review also says Skill on Net holds player funds in segregated bank accounts under the Gambling Commission’s ‘Medium protection’ standards.
Alongside the UKGC framework, the review says Skill on Net Ltd operates under the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) licensing system. Its stated authorisation number is MGA/CRP/171/2009.

Luna Casino Bonuses and Promotions
Luna Casino’s bonus calendar is aimed mainly at slot players, though the review notes occasional offers that can cover live dealer, table, and other games. Its first-deposit offer is automatically applied when a qualifying deposit is made and is limited to online slots. After that offer, the reviewer says they could choose among daily picks: recurring slot promotions with occasional deals for games beyond slots.
Luna Casino Welcome Offer
The cashier is said to apply a bonus balance when a new customer’s first deposit is £10 or more, alongside the deposited funds. The offer also includes 50 free spins with a stated value of £5, calculated at 10p per spin.
- First Deposit: A 100% deposit match up to £50, plus 50 free spins on Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead (Bonus Code LUNA)
Its author could not wager bonus funds on table games, live dealer games, or video poker. This means the Luna Casino welcome bonus is aimed at slot play. The reviewer found the offer easy to claim because it was credited automatically, and says a progress bar made wagering progress straightforward to follow.
Bonus Conditions
Converting bonus funds into real money requires 10x wagering on the bonus only. Playthrough begins only if the real money balance reaches zero within 30 days after the bonus is received. If the rollover is incomplete after 30 days, the casino removes the bonus balance. The maximum stake is the lower of 10% of free spin winnings plus the deposit match bonus, or £5.
Ongoing Promotions
The review describes Luna Casino’s recurring offers as less formulaic than those at many UK competitors. Rather than listing permanent reload or free-spin deals, the promotions page rotates its offers through daily picks. Promotions from individual game studios also feature from time to time.
- Daily Picks: Each day, the Daily Picks promotion presents a fresh offer selected for players. Possible rewards include deposit bonuses, free spins, and other incentives.
- Tournaments: The tournaments area features daily cash prizes through races and leaderboard events, which the review attributes to Luna Casino’s promotions team.
- Software Provider Promotions: Game studios also run leaderboard contests and prize drops alongside Luna Casino tournaments. For instance, Pragmatic Play Drops & Wins features daily leaderboard prizes and cash-paying prize drops with 0x wagering.
Each daily pick or special promotion specifies whether qualifying wagers follow standard or mixed bonus game weights. The review says some offers use mixed wagering rules, allowing bonus funds to be wagered on games outside the slot category.
Standard Bonus Game Weights
Under most regular bonus offers, wagering on slots is the only play that contributes to the requirement.
- 100% - Slots and Scratch Games
- 0% - Other games
Mixed Bonus Game Weights
The MGA-site promotions page sets out game weights in its welcome-bonus terms. The wording quoted in slots count 100%, while any other game counts 10%.
- 100% - Slots and Scratch Games
- 50% - Non-Slots and Scratch Games (Baccarat, Roulette, Blackjack, and other games)
VIP Club and Loyalty Points
Real-money wagers earn VIP points, and the programme has 6 levels, beginning with Bronze for new customers. Benefits listed in the review include a personal VIP account manager, members-only bonuses and promotions, and invitations to special events.
VIP Tiers
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
- Diamond (by invitation only)
- Red (by invitation only)
How VIP Points Convert
Real-money wagers earn 1 point once they reach the qualifying amount. The points rate varies by game type, with separate rates for slots, table games, and live dealer games.
- Slots and Scratch Games: 1 point per £20 wagered
- Hi & Lo, Let Them Ride: 1 point per £40 wagered
- Caribbean Poker, Casino Holdem: 1 point per £60 wagered
- Roulette, Video Poker, Big Wheel, Blackjack, Baccarat, Punto Banco: 1 point per £80 wagered
- Craps, Pai Gow Poker: 1 point per £160 wagered
Payment Choices and Payout Timing
The Luna Casino cashier presents several payment choices, according to the review. Deposit and withdrawal methods include Visa and Mastercard bank cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, instant bank transfers, and other options.
Deposit Options
- Debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard - debit cards only)
- E-wallets (PayPal, MuchBetter, Neteller, Skrill, Payz)
- Banking: (Trustly, Wire Transfer, Instant Bank Payment via UK Banks, Bank Transfer)
- Vouchers: (Paysafecard)
- Mobile Payments: (Apple Pay, Pay by Phone, Pay by Mobile)
The listed minimum deposit across payment methods is £10.00.
Withdrawal Terms
The stated minimum cashout is £10.00, with no maximum withdrawal. The review gives an approval window of 1 to 24 hours. It says no deposit turnover is required and withdrawals are fee-free except bank or wire transfers: those carry a £10.00 fee when the withdrawal is below £500. Withdrawals must use the deposit method where that method is available for cashouts.
A first withdrawal requires completion of the casino’s KYC check. The listed documents are a passport or driver’s licence, a utility bill showing the current address, and proof that the player owns the payment method used to deposit into Luna Casino. The review states that identity verification takes 1 to 3 days after all required documents are submitted.
Games and Software at Luna Casino
The catalogue is listed as 7,000 games from 75+ software providers. The UK-focused review highlights the range of domestic studios in the slots lobby.
Among the named providers are Blueprint, Playtech, Push Gaming, Inspired, and Realistic Gaming. Other notable names in the review include Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Thunderkick, Game Global, 1x2 Gaming, Yggdrasil, and Playson.
Despite the breadth of providers, players cannot filter the lobby by studio. The reviewer felt this made browsing less convenient, since they prefer to group games by brands they follow.
The review found the available lobby categories straightforward to browse: Slots, Live Casino, Roulette, Blackjack, Jackpots, and All Games.
Video Slots and Progressive Jackpots
The slots area presents a scrolling game list, with no further filters beyond the separate Jackpots section.
Titles appearing near the top on desktop and mobile include Book of Dead, Thor: The Trials of Asgard, Energy Coins Hold and Win, and Gladiator Ways. Farther down, the reviewer found the full Big Bass Bonanza slot series and Playtech’s Mega Fire Blaze Jackpot collection.
Progressive jackpot titles sit alongside many slots without progressive prizes. The reviewer liked that the two jackpot formats were easy to distinguish in this section.
- Progressive Jackpots: Rainbow Riches Pots of Gold, Eye of Horus Jackpot King, Age of the Gods Cash Collect, Storm of Ice PowerPlay
- Popular Slots: Gate of Olympus 1000, Big Bass Vegas Double Down Deluxe, Book of Books, Blue Wizard Fire Blaze Classics
Progressive Slots display the jackpot amount, making it easier to spot Amusnet progressive titles, Playtech’s many Age of the Gods and PowerPlay jackpots, Blueprint Jackpot King games, and Relax Gaming Dream Drop slots.
Live Dealer Games and Game Shows
The live casino lobby includes games from Playtech, Evolution Gaming, and Pragmatic Play Live, as listed in the review.
Traditional live dealer options named in the review include Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Dragon Tiger, Sic Bo, and Andar Bahar. Many are also available with side bets or in multiplier formats.
For a more social live casino format, the section also includes a wide choice of game shows. The reviewer describes Evolution Gaming titles Crazy Pachinko, Crazy Time, and Funky Time as featuring multipliers and bonus rounds.
- Notable Playtech Titles: Family Feud Live from Las Vegas, Spin a Win, Age of the Gods Mega Fire Blaze Roulette, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Video Poker Live
- Blackjack Options: Super Boost Blackjack, Azure Blackjack, Mega Fire Blaze Blackjack Live, Blackjack Soiree Gold
The source review also recounts play on Pragmatic Play Live titles Mega Wheel and Vegas Bonanza bingo. Other bingo- or lotto-style choices listed are Mega Ball, Cash or Crash, and Monopoly Big Baller.
Mobile Casino Access
The review outlines three ways to access Luna Casino games on a mobile device.
- Get the iOS app from the Apple Store
- Install the Android app through the Google Play Store
- Use a web browser, including Chrome, Edge, Safari, Opera, and others
They tried the mobile site from different locations using both apps and a browser. Their reported result was that the casino interface felt as easy to use on a smartphone or tablet as on desktop, whether accessed through an app or browser.
Getting Help
Support options include self-service information, live chat, and email. The reviewer was critical of the Bonus Policy page: despite describing its information as accurate, they found it presented as long blocks of text with only a few subtitles, making it difficult to use.
- Live Chat: The review lists 24/7 access and describes wait times as reasonable.
- Email: The listed support address is [email protected]. An email generates a confirmation with a ticket number, and the stated response window is 2 hours to 24 hours.
- Complaints Process: The terms and conditions set out the complaints process in section 21 and require player complaints to be addressed. If the proposed resolution is unsatisfactory, the review names eCOGRA as the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mediation partner.
The original reviewer says they preferred asking the live chat team for help rather than working through lengthy text pages.
Other Online Casinos
The review names two other casino reviews for comparison, featuring operators working within the UKGC or MGA online gambling licensing frameworks. Luna Casino is the point of comparison.

GCCans’ View of Luna Casino
The verdict is reserved: it credits Luna Casino with a solid range of popular games and studios, but also identifies several shortcomings common among some UK casinos.
The reviewer criticizes Luna Casino for lacking a way to filter games by software provider, describing this as a useful standard feature at online casinos. They also found the terms and bonus rules difficult and dull to read. The review argues that Skill on Net could improve clarity by adding subtitles and numbering each section.
The review also points to a few positives: it describes the platform as approachable for new players, with mobile app downloads and a simple interface. Its author rated performance highly on both app and browser.
