Diamond Force online slot review
The Diamond Force online slot is an arcade-inspired 1024-ways-to-win release built around action reels, animated cut scenes, bonus reels offering cash prizes and multipliers, stacked superhero symbols, and the chance to win 13,175x your spin bet. Standard symbol combinations can also begin on any reel.
Theme and Storyline
Crazy Tooth Studio has said that the Diamond Force online slot draws on a simulation of 10 billion games featuring superheroes. The setup places you among unnamed heroes, where combining their powers can produce bonus spins that award cash wins with multipliers.
Graphics, Sound, and Animation
Action-packed barely captures the presentation of this slot. Diamond Force can make mobile and desktop devices work hard, with a great deal happening across the screen. Animations burst from the reels after almost every spin, particularly when the Team-Up Bonus spins feature comes into play. The Crazy Tooth Studio team must have designed thousands of graphics, as the game phases between different backgrounds, coloured reels, and animated scenes.
The polished superhero sound effects are equally well matched to the graphics and gameplay. With so much movement on the reels, the experience can resemble a superhero cartoon animation or a top-of-the-line superheroes arcade game.
Top Casinos to Play Diamond Force:
Gameplay
Microgaming and Crazy Tooth Studio set 1,024-ways-to-win across 5x4 reels and let symbols connect from any reel. In many slots, the first symbol in a combination must land on reel 1. Diamond Force instead uses an ‘Any Adjacent Pays’ feature, allowing combinations to run from left to right with the first symbol starting on reel 1, 2, or 3.
- 3-symbol wins across reels 1-2-3, 2-3-4, or 3-4-5
- 4-symbol wins across reels 1-2-3-4 or 2-3-4-5
- 5-symbol wins across reels 1-2-3-4-5
Regular symbols appear in 1×3 stacks and may trigger the ‘Team-Up Reels’ bonus spin feature. Full stacks of scatters on reel 5 trigger free spins, while the trademark wildcard appears as a diamond symbol. Lower-paying symbols are A, K, Q, and J; the higher-paying symbols are 4 superhero sets: Purple, Red, Green, and Blue.
Available controls include auto spins, sound mute on/off, access to the game rules, and a paytable view. You can also switch animations on or off to conserve a mobile device’s battery or reduce lag when the internet connection is slow.
Bonuses and Free Spins
Team-Up Reels: When stacked superheroes land on the reels together, a new 3x3 ‘Team-Up Reels’ layout spins with the reel symbols, multipliers, and cash wins. It spins once; after it stops, the cash wins are combined and the multipliers applied to create one larger payout.
Team-Up Bonus Spins: A full stacked bonus symbol on reel 5 triggers bonus spins. As with the ‘Team-Up Reels’ feature above, the reels spin in the same way, but free spins symbols are included. Cash wins and multipliers are calculated after each spin, while any new bonus spins are added to the free bonus spins count shown at the top of the reels.
Bet Sizes, RTP, and Variance
The slot’s min-max bets use the ‘total spin’ stake. You can wager between 0.10 and 15.00 per spin, with a stated theoretical RTP of 96.53%. The maximum spin bet seems modest for a game likely to attract high rollers who prefer higher stakes. Diamond Force has high variance, and its reported hit frequency is around 32.23%.
Although the video slot offers 1,024 ways to win, that does not mean it will constantly deliver large wins; the combination payouts are not especially high. A profitable session would depend on stacked symbols creating the ‘Team-Up Reels’ bonus spin and scatters triggering Team-Up Bonus Spins, where wins of up to 13,175x your spin bet are possible.
Conclusion
Few online slots combine arcade-style gameplay, sound effects, and 3D graphics as thoroughly as the Diamond Force online slot. Together with Crazy Tooth Studio, Microgaming has produced another video slot with a distinct presentation. Its superhero theme, energetic gameplay, and ‘Team-Up’ spin bonuses give it a different feel, while fans of comics, superheroes, or arcade gaming may find plenty to appreciate in what Crazy Tooth Studio offers here.
